Sorry. I'll  off now.

This is really, really hard. My favourite band changes like the seasons. The only musical act that always, always makes my ears happy is of Montreal. There are a lot of others that are consistently wonderful. The Beatles have a wonderfully diverse and enjoyable history, although there isn't anything new there. I have an emotional connection to acts like Sufjan Stevens and Neutral Milk Hotel but the latter has very little work to go on. Belle and Sebastian have made some of my all-time favourite songs, as has Radiohead, but a lot of their stuff is also very 'meh' to me. I suppose, browsing through my collection, I have a lot of Metric that I always come back to over and over again, and a fair bit of Apples in Stereo because I am a sucker for psychedelic pop rock stuff.

But really I'm always looking for new stuff. Once I've heard a song fifty times it loses its impact and I look for something new and interesting. So I found this exercise a little bit strange and useless.

Oh, I left out two bands. So, how about Five Iron Frenzy because, screw you, I still adore ska and FIF are quirky and fun and are on a tolerable side of Christian viewpoints. Aaaand, well, I actually own a lot of Saves the Day and their music was with me growing up so they get nostalgia points.  But ..not really.

Reading everyone's lists has been really boring. I hope mine was no exception.
