You know, a major city that best describes the cultural and political uniqueness of the last person. It can be anything you want it to be, and if the person is out-of-country, you can certainly choose a city in their country. Even if you don't know, make a political and cultural guess and be creative.

Also, when I say major city, it doesn't have to be majorly huge, just something that most of use would likely know (preferably over 20,000) that way we're not looking up little towns in Texas, etc. Go!

Denver, as you have a Hickenlooper-ish tone at some points.

I'm gonna say Greenwich, Connecticut. Socially liberal (at least I think) but votes R because of economic issues.

A moderately libertarian town with a Southern streak?

Dallas?

I was about to say Chicago for Oakvale.

For Waukesha County, I'll go with Anchorage. It's hard for libertarians because pretty much every city is quite non-libertarian.

I was going to say this for Oakvale:

In the US: Boston (strong Irish heritage, plus Boston is quite progressive, although not the most progressive American city)
In Ireland: I've been to Ireland, and enjoyed it thoroughly, although I'm not very familiar with Irish politics. Limerick or Cork maybe?

Senator TJ: Green Bay, WI

Speaking of Waukesha County, this is the place for TJ. Extra bonus points for Paul Ryan representing part of it, and TJ being just down the road from it as it is (albeit light years away politically).

For Torie: I think he might like Atherton, which is up north here and is one of the few Republican-voting areas in the Bay Area: not coincidentally, it is also super-rich! Tongue

Hatman: Portland, Oregon.

Scott: Boston. (Lots of liberal Catholics.)

Indeed. It's one of only two bay area communities that voted for Romney.
