Welcome to my office, fellow constituents, Mustafinist-Komovists and onlookers.

You may ask me question in here, bitch at me for whatever reason or (preferably) talk about Mustafinism-Komovism.



I have introduced three bills at this point:
- A bill, fulfilling my campaign promise, to declare Aliya Mustafina as the honourary Empress for life of the IDS

- A large bill to make our schools safer and more inclusive, by tough legislation against bullying and more investments in mental health issues.

- A bill to provide standard operating rules and procedures for the IDS legislature, which would make it much more efficient - for example, by considering much more legislation in a shorter time frame. I will ask the Speaker to move this particular to the top of the queue over my two other bills.

I'm not a particular fan of the enormous procedural thing you put up though. I think we're moving things at our pace and it's not that terrible when the Speaker, aka myself, is not always doing RL things. But we'll discuss it.

Did you survey the "Is our children learning Act" we voted back when I first served in the Legislature (ca. September 2012) ? Maybe it has some aspects that overlap with your School bill, although I haven't read yours thoroughly yet.

Apparently I won reelection, but more people wanted some (inactive) fat neo-Nazi f**ck who beats women to be legislator, so I don't take this as a vote of confidence and I am seriously considering resigning. I'm running for reelection again. I know we're going through a unfortunate dead period in the legislature, but I've just been elected as the new Speaker and I am determined to move stuff forward and, if necessary, prod those legislators who aren't performing into doing their job. I need your vote for a new term to help me accomplish this, and move the legislature forward.

So go vote people.

I am announcing my resignation as legislator effectively immediately and will almost certainly definitely retire from active "politics" at this point (and gradually step down my posting on the forum as a whole).

I'm tired and fed up with this silly game. Nothing will change, it will keep going around in a circle forever and those who actually want to change things will be ganged up on and frustrated in all their efforts. I'm ready to admit "defeat" at this point because it's obvious than there is no path for real reform in this game at this point, not when an assorted coalition of moderate heroes, reactionaries and enemies of any change keep running the show and run around in circles.

This was some fun at a certain point, but for now it's just frustrating and above all endlessly boring at this point. I no longer have fun, I no longer care about whatever happens (since it is of absolutely no use). I had fun working with some likeminded folks or wasting some time with some pieces of legislation, but over the past few weeks I've realized that this is no longer the case.

I wish the best of luck to those still committed to actually improving this game and making a real positive difference. You are braver than I. Those who had a field day calling us "terrorists" or whatever can have a field day and run this game into the ground as they please.
