I think a contributing factor to why my reported posts is so low is because of how many people have me on ignore.

1 was because I empty-quoted Lief since he was like a broken clock, but didn't see the blatant profanity in the meme part of the post since the computer I was using blocked that part.

And 1 was actually inappropriate.

No idea about the others reported.

I am totally confused. I wonder if it counts as moderation for purposes of your count, if you do something like move a thread, but don't infract. Mr. Morden? I can't imagine I would infract in this context. This may be hard to believe, but I really try to avoid infracting where I can in good conscience. Yes, I really do!

Well said.  Total agreement here.  I have yet to report a post or put a poster on ignore.  I ignore most of you and I'm intelligent enough not to need software to do it, also I suspect that it must look strange if bits of threads are missing.  As for reporting, that's for small children and NAZIs.  I'm neither.  I believe most of you are assholes, but I also agree that it is your right to be assholes.

I have never reported anyone for their political opinions, and I never will. I have, however, reported sockpuppets and trolls.

I do occasionally report some posts for over-the-top personal attacks, like telling another poster to die, and for excessive bad language.  Both are completely unnecessary.
