Tokyo has 3rd-highest living costs

GENEVA — Residents in Tokyo still pay the world's third-highest living expenses when compared with those in 71 major cities worldwide, a private survey showed Monday.
The living expense index came to 101.3 for Tokyo, 115.5 for Oslo and 105.1 for Copenhagen against the base of 100 for Zurich, according to the survey by the Swiss financial group UBS. (Kyodo News)
