Who is a politician/thinker/author/commentator that you are fond of that would certainty be an HP in an Atlas poll?

Easy... Christopher Hitchens.  Brilliant man.

Very odd choice above in a place that is secular city.  I go with Bachmann.  She seems to be just about universally dissed on this Forum, and she has nothing in common with 95% of the posters.

I didn't read the question properly and I'm not even stoned yet!  Tongue  I guess I can't answer the question because I can't think off hand of any politician right now that I "love."  But I would vote Joe Lieberman a FF, and 90% of the Forum would go with HP, FWIW.

In Phil's case, his choice would be someone other than Mittens. Tongue

We've had Hitchens threads and the Atlas loathes him.

Michael Bloomberg.

Was going to vote Thatcher, but then I recalled some of those, amusing, Thatcher vs. *horrible figure* polls back in the day.

Dennis Kucinich and Joe Manchin.

HockeyDude, why do you think most people here consider Hitchens an HP?

I literally just voted to make him 12-11 FF, but the nasty comments are far more nasty than the nice comments are nice.  And there's also this one...

https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=65974.0

BRTD in particular despises him.

Romney. "No man was better suited for the times," "successful job creator," "his predictions have all come true," etc., etc.
