I've always prefered reform to removal when it comes to things like this, but in this case reform would essentially be firing every single person and completely changing the way it goes about business, so it would essentially be abolished.

It has some fairly legitimate functions like regulating how certain prescription drugs can be shipped or handled or regulating the sale and production of drugs used for things like athletic enhancement or date rape, plus the thing covered in the last episode of The Good Wife (just aired so spoilers in white) Will calls the DEA and tips them off that the warden of Indiana's death row illegally obtained drugs for lethal injection by shipping through the postal service, thus resulting in them seizing all the drugs used and halting the execution of an inmate whose guilt was in doubt but I don't see how these couldn't be handled by the FDA or FBI. So yes.
