Most of you don't know me, but that's okay because I know you! That's right, I have been watching all of you, reading every post, biding my time... waiting for the perfect chance to strike.

Now, in all seriousness: Hi, I'm Small L, and I'm running for a seat in the IDS legislature next October. My main goal is to build up the political party I belong to, The Democratic-Republicans. You may have heard of us, we're the sixth largest political party in Atlasia. No? That's fine. We haven't had anyone run for office in a long time (if ever). We don't have a platform, but all (4!) of our members are generally libertarian.

If elected, I will not be an absolutist. I will try to go against my real life habits and compromise (ugh). This does not strike me as the type of game that is much fun if there's one guy who always says no to everything. That said, I don't expect to win, this election for me is about getting the DR party some name recognition.

So uh, vote for me if you live in the IDS.

*This list only applies to my first run for office and it should not be assumed that all these people support subsequent campaigns and reelections.

Hopefully the lull in our region is over at last. We need more people campaigning and running for office. Best of luck!

Where do you stand on the preservation of the Imperial Nomenclature?

Also do you pledge full allegiance to the IHJ? Wink

As an associate of one of the higher-ups of the Democratic-Republican party, and as a representative of the two old-timey-type-name parties (Federalist and Democratic-Republican), I extend my endorsement to thee.

I can understand why you didn't vote for me. You did support two tickets who will see a preference in my upcoming vote.

This election made wish that we still had the old preference voting system. Choosing which one to put first was difficult.

It doesn't really matter, since it's just me and Scott on the ballot Smiley . I'm very surprised that no one else declared.

Believe me, especially in the IDS just having the same number of people on the ballot as there are seats is no guarantee that everyone running will be elected.

I'm glad to hear about your interest in activity. Maybe if we both win, you can help me out with some of my plans. Smiley
