My particular set of views would not really fit on a spectrum like this well at all, given that my views draw significant influences from both ends of it while at the same time strongly rejecting the OP's description of what constitutes the centre. I guess it'd be 150 and 850 simultaneously?

Or if by 1 you were to mean communism, if 1000 were anarcho-capitalism, and the centre was to be comprised of social liberalists, however, my answer to the question would be 300.
