I drink black tea sometimes.  It's good, but I drink it far less frequently than I drink coffee.

Hate to adhere to a stereotype, but what sort of question is this?

Only when I'm sick. Otherwise it's mostly water and coffee.

Only if it's horribly hot outside, I'm terribly dehydrated and it's loaded with sugar.

Chai tea, yes, all the time in the winter. I also like sweet tea sometimes, but only when I'm okay with loading up on sugar.

I drink it quite a bit when I'm in places where a good cup of Joe is hard to find.  In China I drink lots of stiff tea all day, even though it makes me hot and sweaty.  When I was hiking in the Andes mountains I had quite a bit of fresh-brewed mate de coca every morning.  And of course in Vietnamese restaurants I always drink the tea they serve with the phở đặc biệt.

Generally, I prefer coffee.

As much coffee as I slug down in the morning, 1 cup of tea on an empty stomach will have me literally vomitng.  Don't know why that is.  Coffee no problems usually.... Weird.

tannic acid, maybe.  Green teas especially have lots of this.  Actually, the only teas I ever drink are the green ones, so I'm familiar with that nausea that comes on.  The people who drink lots of tea every day (Chinese, Vietnamese, etc.) generally make it weaker than we gringos make our coffee.  I tend to go whole hog and put a heaping tablespoon of green leaves in my cup when I make tea, so you'd probably want to stay away from any tea that I brew.

If you're into milk and sugar, try that.  I like mine neat, of course, but the alkalinity of the milk will probably neutralize the tannic acid in the tea.  Unfortunately it will also cool it down, but you mentioned that you don't mind cold coffee, so maybe you'd like cold tea as well.  Actually, at the Asian stores here there are all manner of bottled, refrigerated cold tea beverages in the cooler.  Many of them have various additives and sweeteners that help you overcome the nausea.

I don't avoid it, but I don't really drink it. Maybe on a cold evening or something, and yes, Earl Grey is good with a little sugar. But I mainly stick to coffee in the morning, water and fruit juice during the day, and wine (usually Cabernet) with the evening meal, and also water. No soda, ever.

Occasionally. Not often. Black tea or masala chai. Milk, no sugar. Voted yes.

Sure but only very rarely.  Maybe 2-3 cups per month, hot and with sugar and milk.

I for one drink an average of 1.3 gallons (4.92 liters) of sweet tea on an average night.

No, but I definitely have one to two glasses of sweet tea a day. Always have, Always will.

I think I'll give it up until we have a functioning government again.
