Weird dreams you've had involving politicians

Have political figures ever entered your dreams, possibly in strange ways? 

They've entered mine a few times.  Once, I dreamt that Harry Truman was chasing me.  Another time, I had a dream that Ronald Reagan was my aunt.

I have dreamed that I was a member of Lincoln's cabinet on a few occasions. Once was during the struggle to pass the 13th amendment, that was like the best dream other than ones with girls ever. The other times were events that I'm quite sure never happened.

I've had several dreams with Reagan in it.  Including this one I posted about two years ago:

I once had a dream sometime in 2005 that Ronald Reagan came back from the dead (literally) and ran for President in 2006.
Not only that but George W. Bush changed his party identification to Democrat sometime in late 2005 because "everybody likes Democrats now mkay?"  Almost immediately he becomes this diehard left wing granola eating liberal and decides to ban guns.
Ronald Reagan wins the 2006 Republican Primaries decisively and goes onto rape Bushie in the 2006 Presidential Election (don't ask me why it was taking place in 2006 it just did).
And he won over 500 Electoral Votes and afterwards all I heard in the background was Rocky montage music.

I swear I'm not making that up.

Interestingly, a couple of weeks after that I had a dream that Ronald Reagan was a Catholic who remained in Illinois to become a hardscrabble police chief.  He runs for and wins the Governorship in 1952 and becomes known for being a "petty union labor hack" due to his criticisms of Eisenhower and Republican leadership.  In 1960 he gets in a brutal primary fight with Jack "Lace Curtain Boy" Kennedy (his nickname, not mine) with him assailing Kennedy for being a "fake liberal".  The race gets heated as they both start throwing charges of racism against each other.  It looks like Kennedy is going to get the nom, until the Roosevelt family comes out hard for Reagan pretty much guaranteeing him the nomination.  Reagan gets the nomination in a divided party convention and ends up running against Nelson Rockefeller.

What results is an election that could be a picture definition of "class warfare".  The South goes overwhelmingly for Reagan, feeling him to be a man's man (despite his popery) and not a paternalistic snob who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.  That he didn't focus too much on Civil Rights also helped him.  It looked like Rocky would win the presidency due to the good economy and Eisenhower's record until he made an incredibly dumb gaffe while at a meeting of upper class Congregationalists in Connecticut.  A Democrat just happened to have been taking a whizz when they overheard, and recorded, Rockefeller saying that the nation "deserves better than a president who was born in a bar".  THere was no way the campaign could combat the charges of elitism, paternalism, and classism and Reagan ended up winning in a semi-landslide.  I don't remember the map, but I believe it looked something like this:

For years after that everyone would bemoan Rockefeller for running an "incredibly dumb" campaign.

Around the time of the 2012 election I had a dream that this was the map the morning after:

I was in NYC and dreamt I met Mark Begich and got his autograph.

I had one where I was Prime Minister of the United States in a future where an electoral-constitutional crisis occurred and caused the American people to realize what a stupid constitution they had (lol yeah right.) The country basically underwent a revolution that resulted in a new constitution (not sure how they did it without dissolving the federation itself) which made us a parliamentary republic.  Both parties split several ways and the progressive Democrats ended up becoming a social democratic/socialist party.  I became their leader and lead them into an election victory and a subsequent coalition with the Greens (yes, a lovely dream).

I think I've posted some of them here before, but in my most recent one (a few months ago), I was chauffeuring Mary Landrieu in a Maserati GranTurismo around Georgetown. Its pretty specific but I remembered it for some reason!

As for me, I got invited to go up to Washington D.C. to meet Vice President Joe Biden near the White House at his residence. We shook hands and talked for awhile, but then asked me if I would like to knit sweaters with him and Jill while eating cream of wheat soup and watching Howdy Doody. Later on then, he surprised me and gave me a donkey to remember him by and after saying goodbye and leaving, I got on the donkey and rode on him from DC back to Ohio.

I've had plenty, but I'm not sure I can remember any of them specifically.  The most recent one I can remember is one where it was Election Night 2014, and some guy named Thompson was the GOP candidate for Governor of Illinois.

I have had some involving Allen West. Most of them were flashbacks to various times when I have spoken with him. The most interesting dream that was not a flashback involved him showing up at my school for some reason, and I walked over to greet him. He remembered me by name like he does with everybody in reality. Then he went on his way with my principal.

I still have nightmares about election night 2012, and how awful it was.

I don't trust my political dreams anymore. I had a dream before the election that John Kerry was going to win in 2004 (with I believe 332 or 336 electoral votes). I'm fairly sure the numbers were somewhat doable at the time.

Forgot to mention: a couple months ago I had a dream that I met Joe Manchin at some fair and got a signed photograph from him.  I was very disappointed when I realized it was only a dream.
