traditionally the dandelion is the bane of Hank Hill style home owners, but others love them because they flower earlier in the season than most flowers and do a lot to help local native pollinators (mostly bees) get a good start on strong, healthy year of pollinating all the things we want them to pollinate

how do you feel about the edible yellow flower/weed?

It has a great name - dent de lion, “lion’s tooth” - that feels more ceremonious than the flower actually is.

It's funny you bring this up because my sister is obsessed with them and wouldn't let me mow the lawn recently until she picked them all in the yard.

All I can say is that people who grow a lawn in the desert are basically terrorists.

Um excuse me? Where is the option for all lawns should be converted into vegetable gardens with the products getting donated to the government so we can send “aid” to rival countries and kill their agricultural industries?

I don't mind them and didn't understand why I had to pick them out of the yard as a chore growing up.
