Re: above post ...

Austria's newest and modern deportation center is going into full operation already on Monday, June 1, by executive order of Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner (ÖVP) - instead of July 1, due to the recent influx of many (economic) asylum seekers.

Economic asylum seekers (not those in need from war areas), will now be deported.

To me, the new deportation center looks more like a hotel - but whatever ...

Its like a friggin ski resort...

jesus maybe i should stay illegally in austria just to get a free hotel....

lol a FPÖ-SPÖ coalition?

Either the FPÖ wants to tarnish the reputation of SPÖ, or they want to become unpopular by being in power instead of staying as a protest vote. Or their trying to show that they can cooperate as a coalition partner in the future elections. I think this is the first time in a while that a Centre-left party ever decided to cooperate with the a populist rightwing party.

In case of a FPO-OVP coalition or Either of two forming a minority government with confidence/support from the other. Whats the chance that any future greek bailouts get voted down?

SPO is the only one thats much in favor of a bailout of greece.

Meanwhile FPO is very much against giving greece anymore money.

Whats 'Neos' party position on the greek bailouts?

Sadly theres no way to push them back to italy right?

Italian rescue missions should of had an objective of returning them to Libya, not let them into italy.

A new Gallup poll today shows that 2/3 of Austrians want to re-introduce border controls:

66% re-introduce border controls
27% keep the free movement in place

Also:

"Would you mind if your municipality takes up asylum seekers worth 1.5% of the municipal population ?"

61% don't mind
25% would have a problem with it

"Would you personally house asylum seekers in your apartment/house ?"

70% No
23% Yes

Lol 23% of the population has more control over immigration policies than the 70% of austrians.

What a shocker...
