The Vorarlberg municipal elections on March 15 could produce a stunning/shocking result in the city of Hohenems.

According to a new VN poll, the FPÖ and its mayoral candidate could for the first time win this ÖVP-dominated city.

3 points to note:

* The FPÖ's candidate for mayor there is Dieter Egger, who is also the state's FPÖ leader.
* The city of Hohenems has a long Jewish tradition and is the site of a Jewish museum
* During the 2009 state election campaign, Egger referred to the director of the Jewish Museum as an "exile Jew from America".

Anyway, here's the poll:

So are mayors elected directly, or are they elected in the same manner chancellors are?

Two questions:

1. What's the threshold here again?
2. "Steirer Wahl wird zum Krimi"?  Does that translate to "Styrian election is becoming a crime-mystery," or am I mistaken?  I understand they're trying to get the point across that it's exciting, but that seems like a strange metaphor to me.  Is Krimi commonly used to refer to suspenseful events in general?

"It would be about time now to draw a final line under the Holocaust."

52% Yes
24% No
19% Mixed/Neutral
  5% Undecided

What does "draw a final line under the Holocaust even mean?

The FPÖ has now reached 30% for the first time in 15 years in a Gallup poll as well:

Not long ago, pollster Unique Research had the FPÖ at 31% ...

So what would the resulting government likely be if the results were to come out like that?
