Interesting point. It might be a useful exercise to put posts in here, that you think are thoughtful and well done, but with which you disagree. Of course some may think it impossible to post anything "good" with which they disagree.

As an aside, I often found in the past that Marokai put up posts with which I disagreed, but as to which I could not help being impressed because they were well reasoned, and in particular, well documented. In my mind, I was thinking, man this "pinko" kid is good!

It's a thread determining who is well liked among people likely to put posts in the Good Post Gallery. I.e. BRTD, hence Opebo wins.

As has been pointed out plenty of good posters rank pretty low just for that reason. I'm not sure if I've ever quoted someone in the gallery, so the posters I like would not score as highly. I'm sure the same goes for many others.

Yeah, I've never posted anything in the Good Post Gallery, as I don't really see the point.  As you yourself I think said at one point, what's the point of posting in such a gallery?  Just like, what's the point of posting bad posts in the Bad Post Sulfur Mine or whatever it's called?  Just say whether you agree or disagree in the original thread in question.

I think the only "institutes" or "mines" that I've ever put a post in were the Comedy Goldmine and the Institute of Funny Partial Thread Titles.  All the rest are abominations that clutter up FC, and that Dave Leip (played by Hitler) doesn't approve of (see 2:14 of this video: http://meemsy.com/v/7082 ).
