I don't see how I could have anything but a positive opinion of her.

I am going to be the dick who says "FF but.....". I appreciate what she has done, but I really don't see how she deserves the Nobel Peace Prize anymore than anyone else. The people who are disarming Syria don't deserve it, but they have done more for actual peace (as in stopping war).

She's attempting to reverse an outdated view of both females and education and nearly died in the process. The Nobel "Peace" Prize is not so much about literal peace, rather it is about promoting general good in the world.

Take a guess.....

And the Taliban reaction to her merits only contempt from me -how can hardened warriors feel so threatened by a child that they feel the need not only to threaten her life, but also to attempt to take it?

In fairness, the US government has probably killed far more young girls in the Middle East/South Asia than the Taliban. Still, FF.

Your post may be valid, if it was at all relevant to this thread instead of a chance for you to scream "guyz I'm deep."

I think the fact that she rejected the idea that she deserves the Nobel Peace Prizes because she says she hasn't done enough for peace makes her even more of an FF.

Inspirational FF. She is like a teenage Ghandi, seemingly without any of Ghandi's HP'esque personal qualities.

If that HP vote wasn't a joke or mistake, whoever voted that option is a thousand times the HP he thinks Malala is.
