No one on the left claims Richard Nixon, a few Democrats claim Richard Nixon.

A few reasons why the left claims him: '

1.) He was left of center
2.) He supported things that Republicans don't now that Dems want current Republicans to support. The Republicans of now dislike the EPA of the Obama Administration.
3.) He was a liberal Republican
4.) Probably would have supported ObamaCare unlike Republicans of now.
