I find it funny that I am more socialistic on taxation than TNF is.

What makes a tax code more or less socialistic than another? In a well-designed socialist system there should be no need for taxation to serve as a redistributive engine because producers shall already be compensated fairly in the first place. Though taxation based on marginal utility or ones ability to pay demands progressive rates, who is to say how high or low those rates should be, objectively, from a socialist perspective? Likewise, the transition to socialism does not demand any particular set of tax rates. There are other ways to attack the foundations of inter-class inequality.
There are many ways to traverse the road to socialism.
