At this point no, especially with the Assad regime agreeing to get rid of its chemical weapons.  We are best off from a distance.  Let both the Assad regime and the (largely Islamist/Salafist) rebels bleed, as well as his Iranian backers.  The longer this war (and sanctions regime) goes on, the more amenable Iran will become to our terms of nuclear disarmament.
