I am starting to lean towards intervention, despite being against it as recently as a month ago.

Yeah the rebels are Islamists, but they're going to win anyway (even though it could take a decade). And they're just going to get more and more Islamist over time. The SNC are already crushed. The longer this goes on, the worse it is.

Pretty much the only reason not to intervene would be to sadistically bleed Iran.
