Just something I've been realizing lately, you can find plenty of really f[inks]ing stupid braindread "commentary" on sites like DU (NOT DailyKos I must emphasize, which tends to be a very analytical and well thought out site in its commentary, even if occasionally hackish), but you usually don't see that type of junk reflected on major news sites. On the other hand at least half of comments on any political article will typically be barely coherent and poorly spelled ramblings about the evils of Muslim, socialist Obama. And even during the Bush years during such stories that reflected poorly on the administration you never saw whole pages of "OMG BUSH = HITLER!!!1!!" junk over and over. It seems the illiterate Tea Party crazies love to spread their crap all over the internet yet the not too bright left wingers usually just stick to their own little caves.

Ehh... What sites are you going on? I know for example, if I go read articles on the Globe & Mail's website, half the comments are STEVE HARPUR ISA FASHIST!!!

Yahoo News, or any major American news network or newspaper. You'd expect this from Fox News, but really CNN isn't much better, the only real difference is on Fox EVERYTHING is Obama's fault even if the article had nothing to do with him. For example an article about say, a children's toy being recalled due to safety concerns' comments would mostly be "BLAH BLAH BLAH THIS IS OBAMA'S AMERICA! BLAH BLAH BLAH OBAMA WANTS TO KILL YOUR KIDS"

There are more conservatives than liberals, and liberals don't sound as crazy to you.

DU has posts with "logic" so flawed and fallacious it makes me want to bash my head against a wall all the time. It's even worse when the point is NOT True Leftist babble and is actually something I agree with.
