I'm okay with that flag.  I probably won't be submitting any more designs because I have to focus my creative energy on the Atlasia game for now.

I've been meaning to look into this but have just been all over the place lately - sounds like a lot of fun!

You know, I kind of like it. It's extremely odd, but it just sort of works. I keep going back and forth on it in my head though. I mean... how would it fly on a flagpole?

We'd probably need to spend some money to design a new type of flag pole. Also, we'd need to retrofit existing ones if we really want to sperg. They'd actually look pretty kick-ass lined up in bunches along streets. Not sure if this'd actually work, but:

Hopefully it doesn't offend anyone.  I will admit, I kind of like the Southern battle flag design... not because of what it represents to some people, but because I find it aesthetically appealing.  If someone thinks I'm a racist because my eyes see a flag a certain way, then I guess they're entitled to their misconceptions, but I don't want anyone to receive backlash over this.

The only thing holding me back is that it's a diamond. I mean, it's a logistical nightmare. It looks cool on the pole, I'll give you that... but for the wiki and anything else, it's just a bit much, isn't it?

Maybe I'm not following - the actual image would be rectangular/square, but yeah: it'd show up as a diamond with the transparent/white parts excluded.

I kind of like it, it shows our Southern uniqueness. We ain't gonna use those "regular" northern flag poles! Not to say I'm invested in it one way or the other.

Now that just looks like the Commies invaded and now we are a "People's Republic of ___" I wonder how evergreen green would work out... Black would be boring, but if it were iron-grey with red stripes or something, it would be interesting...

Its hard for me to comment on these. My laptop's screen shows every color as either pink or green. I'll comment more tomorrow when I get on a screen that shows regular color.

But again, this is meant to be a coat of arms separate from the flag, correct? Is discussion of a coat of arms appropriate for this bill?

While I like the design overall, I have to say that I am personally not a big fan of coats of arms. In this case, it kind of looks like a flag within a flag. I hate to be picky, though, and since I'm not in the Legislature, it's not my call.
