Barack Obama has - to my knowledge - not apologized for the wiretapping. He has denied knowledge of it AFAIK. But that's obviously not the same as an apology. Peter King is not up to date on the issue.

Also, I would like to point out the potential irony that it's entirely conceivable that Peter King - as a former active supporter of the IRA - might have been subject to surveillance/wiretapping by British intelligence agencies in the past just as easily.

Good point. The IRA really is a terrorist organization more popular among Irish-Americans than among the Irish in Ireland.
