This poll is just for Republicans.  If you could prevent the election of just one Democrat president from our entire country's history, who would you prevent?

Harry Truman, but only because Dewey would have made a good President.

Not FDR?  I'm shocked...

As for myself, it's gotta be LBJ.

I hate Wilson's and FDR's politics, but I like them personally.

I detest Jackson personally, but, as I would have been a moderate van Buren fan back then, can't utterly detest him politically.

No one else did enough damage to even be considered...or I like them.

Harry Truman and Grover Cleveland are two of my favorite Presidents [certainly in the top 5].

This is quite interesting.  The Democrats version of this is overwhelimgly for Bush 43.  While we're spread out.   I'm surprised that Clinton has only gotten one vote so far, I would have thought he would have gotten more.

Clinton was persoanlly despicable, but the economy was good.  Carter was personally a very decent man, but having lived through his Presidency, I can honestly say that he was a disaster.

LBJ was a likable guy, or so I've heard, but his handling of Vietnam, coupled with his looting the Social Security Trust Fund, make him a truly bad President also.  He would be worse than Carter, had the expanding war economy not pulled him thru.

Wow, only 2 votes for FDR? Come on, he can get more of your votes.
