Sure, but by no means would it be a slide for him.

Against most republicans, yes.

Again, go with the (R) for me.

Possibly, but he would probably need a good republican year or a bad democratic candidate.

If it was a good night, he could very well win it. But more likely he would lose it than win it.

He could, but if the final outcome is anything like 2000 or 2004 2008 or 2012, then probably not.

You're talking about Puerto Rico, right?

I'm a Floridian, I would hope I'm talking about Florida Smiley

And Miles is a moderate on most issues, would keep the Democratic base together, win over more moderate Republicans, and win Independents. Of course the Green Party candidate might get a nice share of the vote (3%).

You however, are too liberal on social issues and too conservative on economic issues.

Well OK, I see your points. But I don't think any party would get north of 60% of the vote in Florida. It's a pretty divided state, and lots of cross-over support would be needed for that to happen, even for someone like Miles.

You didn't have to do me though, I should've said skip. I wouldn't be able to win Florida in most circumstances.

Libertarian EG, no. Republican EG, probably

lol, I wonder how I would win a republican primary (unless I get lucky and there's no one else running.

Against almost any generic republican, he wins.

He's probably the right republican to carry those rural counties, though enthusiasm among very conservative republicans would be very low.
