As a Dem yes, though margins in the upstate (former and non) industrial regions and on Long Island could significantly be cut down with a right REP candidate. However the Five Boroughs should give you a reliable voter base allowing for a easy overall victory.

A standard Democrat like yourself seems like the almost ideal candidate for New York. You could hold both the Urban interest groups, surrounding Minority/White suburbanites, and hold most of the traditional Democratic voting upstate city and industrial county's. A above 60% win thus is likely.
