Seeing as how he gerrymandered his district to get his name recognition up, and he would have an edge as the only Dem candidate from the Baltimore area (Brown, Gansler, and Mizuer are from the DC area) my gut says he declares.

I didn't think he'd run, but this makes it even more doubtful. I have a feeling he's banking on Mikulski retiring in 2016.

Brown is likely going to be Maryland's next Governor in 2014: making him the nation's 4th African American governor (3rd elected after Wilder and Patrick) in the Post-Reconstruction Era.
