45-41-9 McAuliffe

47-45 McAuliffe (without Sarvis)

From October 22 - 28, Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,182 likely voters with a margin of error of +/- 2.9 percentage points. Live interviewers call land lines and cell phones.

Probably an outlier like that other Rasmussen poll, considering this:

Yeah, that party sample has to be way off. That implies something like a 6-7 point Republican over Democrat advantage. I guess it could happen, but there wasn't that big of an advantage for the Republicans even in 2009 when Mcdonnell landslided.

I don't see how this isn't an outlier.

Fascinating that Sarvis does the worst among 18-34 year olds. It kind of cuts against the "libertarian youth" stereotype.

If McAuliffe is still ahead in a poll with a greater GOP registration advantage than in 2009, he has absolutely nothing to worry about.

Looking at the party registration numbers, this has to be an outlier.
