A few months ago, I would have said Joe Manchin, but my opinion about him has gone up quite substantially since then. At this point, I would probably go with Harry Reid as the worst Democratic senator currently in office.

Reid seems like the clear choice.

Yeah, I'm sticking with Manchin here.  My opinion of him has gone up in recent months, and I respect that he's better than any WV Republican would be, but as long as continues to parrot that "War on Coal" nonsense I really can't move him from the bottom.  (And there's also this.)

I like Reid, actually.  He's a lightning rod because a) he's the Majority Leader, and b) he's taken a couple not-too-great positions by dint of Nevada being purple (until recently?) as well as, I guess, his Mormonism.  But he's a fighter, he's good at playing the legislative game, and we need that sort of fighter in that position.

I'm going with Feinstein.  Even though I don't agree with most of the red state Dems, they're pretty much the best option for dems in those states.  California could do WAY better than Feinstein though, and thats coming from someone who usually supports any female dem.

Babs Boxer is a close second, but Elizabeth Warren takes the cake.

Harry Reid is the worst I think. But Menendez, Baldwin, and Feinstein are up there as well.

Pryor.  I don't know why people are saying Manchin.  His vote is never guaranteed for anything, but at least he's more interested in governing than winning elections.

The people picking Warren and Baldwin are hilarious.

To me it has to be Pryor, he's pretty useless. Feinstein gets a pass due to her excellent history on guns and Manchin because of all the work he put in to try get background checks passed.

I wouldn't mind that so much, if he was actually semi-progressive on economic issues.

Pryor. At least Manchin's interested in governing rather than being a useless moderate hero.
