Is Gravity Falls some new weirdo pony type show?

Nah. Mostly I watch it so that I have something to talk to my brother about, but I genuinely like it (as does the AV Club).

The AV Club also likes MLP.

I've been regularly watching The Blacklist because I'm a James Spader fanboy. Don't catch many others religiously - although I will certainly soak in the last season of Dexter.

If they're on, I'll try and catch Archer, Family Guy, Borgen, and I have an embarrassing soft spot for Two Broke Girls, Snog Marry Avoid?, and a handful of others.

American:

The Simpsons (out of grim obligation)
Bob's Burgers (probably the best show on the air right now)
American Dad (much better than Family Guy)
Hello Ladies (will probably give this up soon)
The Neighbors (one half really mean and funny, one half network mandated sentimental schlock)
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The League
Childrens Hospital
NTSF:SD:SUV:;
Orange is the New Black

British:

Have I Got News for You
8 out of 10 Cats
QI
Never Mind the Buzzocks
Was It Something I Said?
Charlie Brooker's Weekly Wipe
10 O'Clock Live
Doctor Who

Considering adding The Trophy Wife and Super Fun Night when I get a better internet connection.

I just started watching Showtime's new drama, "Masters of Sex." It's really good.

WillipsBrighton - I just added Trophy Wife, it is very funny!

Some are off-season, and a few I don't honestly keep up with well, but:

BBC World News
The Blacklist
The Colbert Report
The Crazy Ones
The Daily Show with Jon Stewart
Doctor Who
The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson
The Michael J. Fox Show
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
NCIS
NCIS: Los Angeles
Torchwood

I have the TV on a lot even if I'm not necessarily watching it, so I'll only include the shows I make a point of watching (i.e. tune in when they're on or DVR them assuming I didn't forget anything, italics for shows that aren't currently airing):

Modern Family
Family Guy
American Dad
The Simpsons
South Park
The Big Bang Theory
CSI
Revolution
Grimm
American Horror Story
Real Time with Bill Maher
Bizarre Foods
MasterChef
Veep
Under the Dome
Shameless
Doctor Who

Obviously, this list only includes shows that haven't ended or been cancelled. And if I can ever get around to knocking enough stuff off the DVR, I plan on working through Game of Thrones. I tend to watch most of the above after they've aired, which lets me avoid commercials.

None. I don't have cable because it's not worth the money. It's been a couple years since I've had it now and whenever I do see old shows on TV I'm becoming more and more taken aback by the sexualization of it. I'm being resensitized a quite a bit I once overlooked. They call it the boob tube for a reason, man. Not watching it for a while makes it so, so obvious.

They're the best two live action shows ever on Adult Swim (low praise).

I don't watch many TV shows these days, but I'll post the shows I watch occasionally.

The Voice
The Simpsons
Family Guy
American Dad
The Newsroom
Shark Tank
Real Time with Bill Maher
Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman

The only shows I watch on a regular basis are Shark Tank and Real Time.  Most of the time I have news on.  Sometimes I'll have a Music Choice play in the background, but that's usually when I'm reading.  History Channel will also be on in the rare occasion that it plays something other than Modern Marvels, gator hunters, pawn shop guys, or some other sh**y reality show.

Seriously.  I'll pick up snippets here and there when I'm out and about, but I don't feel at all deprived.

None, they're pretty much all garbage, although The Office looks like it might be good (but I haven't seen it, so I don't know for sure.)

By "current" I mean those that I have started watching and plan on finishing some day. But note that my frequency in watching them is generally pretty low.

Borgen
Doctor Who
Crozza nel paese delle meravigle (Italian comedian's one-man show)
House of Cards
The Daily Show
The West Wing
Profiling (French police procedural)
Torchwood
Dexter
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Criminal Minds
The Newsroom
Breaking Bad

Childrens Hospital has had its moments but I almost always turn the channel if something else is on.

Anywho, as of the last few weeks, 90% of my TV viewing is C-SPAN. I can't get enough of it. The series on the First Ladies is really awesome.

First Ladies: Influence and Image (C-SPAN, every Monday).
