They are close & both nuts.  I would say Frist is a little more economically conservative & Santorum is a bit more socially conservative

I'd say Santorum. Frist seems to do what he's told by the White House. Last weeks flip flop on soc sec a prime example. Santorum seems more committed to conservative principle.

I would have to agree with Tcash.

Frist takes strong conservative postions when instructed to, whereas Santorum is at the forefront of the movement.

Santorum.  He's pretty socially conservative, and doesn't quite understand (or maybe care) what's going to sound bad.  Frist seems considerably more press-friendly and more moderated in his delivery if not his stances.

Rick Santorum, the idiot from my state. The only people he represents are those who are, obviously, very stupid. I can't wait for Chuck Pennacchio to beat him.

Nope, Bob Casey will win.

You know I thought that about the last governor of my state and the people who voted for him.   BTW I don't think Casey is that strong to take on Sanoturm.

I think a good deal of Pennsylvania conservatives would rather vote for a pro-life Democrat than a pro-life Republican.  Many suburbanites, of course, more often have the sense to realize that the GOP is better on the economy than the Democrats.

1) He only represents the idiots of the state? Wow...53% of PA voters are idiots I guess.

2) Have fun with Pennacchio. Casey is going to crush him.

3) Finally, welcome to the forum. I'm sure we'll have some fun debates. I'm a big Santorum fan.   Smiley

Look what the Prohibition Party sent me:

"There are many to whom we look as heroes of our movement. These would include our founder, John Russell, Gov. John St. John of Kansas, Gov. J. Frank Hanly of Indiana, Silas Swallow, Frances willard Neal Dow would be at the top of any such list.

Thanks. Let me introduce myself. My name is Max Power, I am a Democrat, I live near Pittsburgh, I want John Kerry to run in 2008, and this is where I am on the political compass:
Economic Left/Right: 6.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 0.46
(I think they're wrong, because I'm usually liberal on social issues.).

Me actually.  Interesting  PC score.  I'm from Northeast Philadelphia.  I find it funny you're a democrat considering a +6.63 economic score.  You have a lot of GOP members beat there.  And Pennacchio?  I like him better than Casey, but he don't have a prayer.

He sounds like a libertarian. They tended to vote Democrat in this last election.
