Had Obamacare been implemented a year earlier with the website problems/etc., would President Obama have still been able to defeat Romney?

I suspect not. Presidents don't win re-election with 40% approval, whether or not it's justified.

No, because Romney would have somehow bungled it, either by overplaying his hand or by making a gaffe that made him look out-of-touch.

Nah, Obama is very good at making people believe that the country's problems are somebody else's fault. Give him the chance to campaign to a captive audience and he'd talk his way out of this one too.

Obama would have found some way to blame Bush for it.

Yes, Obama would still have won. Embarrasing, yes. Cost him support, no doubt, but he still would have won.

A malfunctioning website would not have changed the fundamentals of a race that had been established months earlier. It would not have turned minorities, moderates, and young people off enough to go vote for Mitt Romney.

IT'S A FREAKING WEBSITE, CALM DOWN EVERYONE.

No way in my opinion, unless Mitt made another gaffe.

Nope. It would only take 2% of voters changing their minds to make the election a complete tossup. 4% or more and Obama loses even with the Dem electoral college advantage.

The President would have lost. I have a feeling the charge political climate may lead some insurance companies to release their cancellations before election day. You'd see at least 3% movement nationally. Weighted movement in Florida. Not sure about other states.

You also have to think it would have been EVEN WORSE if they had a year less.

Most likely not, the map might have ended up like this:

Giving WI narrowly to the Republicans, as Ryan was the VP candidate.
