I would like to hear arguements for and against this, but this sounds like an interesting twist.

Surely semi-presidentialism would require the Cabinet to consist of Senators rather than merely allowing it? Tongue

I'd be open to that, and expanding the senate to fifteen.

Certainly any plans to expand the Senate must be considered in context of potential consolidation.

Also, I worry that in the absence of such this will be drawing from too small a pool of actives and risk a similar problem to what we had with the committees of loading too much on too few. I think it would be better to keep it optional and maybe to set a limit on how many Senators can do this at a time.

I think this would put an interesting spin on the game and would make the whole system more exciting. I'm open to tinkering with it.

So we gonna have some amendments one way or the other here? I can have one about the Senator limit I mentioned in a few hours.

Can we touch up the wording on this? It seems as though we're just replacing the entire text of Article V Section 1 with this text.

That should probably be done first before we start getting into limits and such forth and other content questions.

I am getting there. I wasn't expected an hour long detour in the form of OSPR updates, but on the flip side I think that is now completely accurate now. Tongue

Out of curiosity, what is the point of placing a concrete limit on the number of Senators in thr cabinet? And why would it be okay for a Senator to be SoFE but not RG?

I don't understand this either.
