a possible future D3 Senate race. So what would it be like on the national scale? Imagine Joe Republic running as a Perot-like third party candidacy.

This is the first time I've ever been compared to Ross Perot.

Well as you know in Atlasia we have multiple parties and no parties could be described as third parties, some could be described as minor but none "third" parties. If this is talking about a US election then Joe Republic would be the first third party President ever.

JoeRepublic, and by BRTD don't you mean the avatar formerly known as BRTD?

Wow.

Clearly I need to do some campaigning in the crucial swing state of Utah.

Peter's map underestimates Joe Republic's support, especially if Naso keeps on his anti-gun measures and policies, he'd lose the deep South, Oklahoma and Texas, probably.

Joe would probably also win Delaware.

BTRD would probably lose MA and would certainly lose RI (he's made some remarks about the Catholic church that would go down very badly there) although I think he'd pull off a win in North Dakota.

not like I would during the campaign. I could even pick a Catholic running mate. BRTD/Flyers would work.

although I think he'd pull off a win in North Dakota.

ha ha, I wish.

Why would BRTD win the 2nd district of Nebraska? It voted for Bush.

Delaware would not vote for BRTD if MD and NY don't. Joe would likely romp, by a 50-30-15 national margin, BRTD gts 30.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that... If anyone, it'd go for Joe.

Can you name a district in Nebraska that didn't vote for Bush?

The fourth one.

It would have voted for Bush but it was restricted from doing so because it doesn't exist.

Hey, why not give 2 Nebraska district electors to Naso, 1 to BRTD, and the 2 at large electors to Joe? It's possible, and not really any more unlikely than what you have already.

I'm assuming that Naso insults the parentage of everyone in North Dakota Grin

I can tell you who would NOT win - Joe Republic. Joe Democrat, however, would win this race.
