Ugh... Walter's views on unions sway me toward him, but it's a disgusted vote.

But obviously Walter would win overall, unless it was a great year for actual Democrats.

My guess.

TNF carries the rural vote easily, along with getting heavy backing from labor unions and the NRA. WalterMitty meanwhile is able to carry "serious people", social liberals, and neoconservatives. He receives the endorsements of both Dick Cheney and George W. Bush, where the former nation's leaders cite him as an example of the type of progressivism America needs. Walter narrowly triumphs over "right-wing Democrat" TNF in a close race that presented religious and conservative voters with no real choice.

WalterMitty (Rightwing Democrat-Massachusetts) 272 electoral votes
TNF (Rightwing Democrat-Kentucky) 266 electoral votes

TNF/Waltermitty - TNF is closer to me politically, and he puts quite a lot of effort into explaining why he holds the positions he does. However, being a self-described socialist won't help him with the broader electorate.
