The old school Asian faction of the Hawaii Democratic party has never liked Abercrombie, e.g, Inouye tried to get Hanneman into the primary against Abercrombie in 2010.

Huh. Coming from a very white state like Utah, I don't understand ethnic politics, though I do like diversity within politics.

Former Hawaii Circuit Court Judge and Senior Pastor Elwin Ahu has announced that he is entering this years Republican primary for Lieutenant Governor.

Doubt he stands much a chance against Aiona.

Aiona is running for Governor, not LG.

I hate Neil Abercrombie so this is great news for me. But hopefully David Ige primaries Abercrombie's ass off fist.

Imagine if all three of Ige, Hanabusa and Mercado Kim win their races
