Didn't like him before, don't like him now. He seems phony and bizzare.

He is an HP since we all know he would vote against cocaine legalization if it came up.

I'm not one of the libertarians that encourages drug usage, in fact I would encourage people not to use drugs. But it should always be legal. His addictions and problems is what made him an HP, not the fact that he uses drugs (The fact that he's a politician also lowers my opinion of him as well). I am absolutely OK with people using drugs for their own personal use, but as I said I wouldn't encourage it because it does serious damage to your health and well-being.

Also add what Sanchez said.

what's his voting record on drug issues?  we had an NY State Assemblyman get busted with pot earlier this year and he had to good sense to cast a yes vote on medical marijuana later in the year.

His addictions and problems is what made him an HP

...i cannot believe you actually typed this

aside from Radel's voting record on drugs, there is no excuse to say something like this.

Age isn't even an excuse. Someone who's as politically aware as this kid is, he should understand what he said. I can't fathom it.

it's a great fallacy to presume that he is addicted to cocaine.  if you happened upon somebody carrying a six-pack of beer you would not presume that they are addicted to alcohol.

^ This is worth noting. Just because the guy occasionally (maybe even only once?) uses cocaine doesn't make him an Addict.

Votes for drug testing for welfare recipients; goes home at night and snorts cocaine. A real disgusting specimen.

Because alcohol and cocaine are obviously equally addictive Roll Eyes

cocaine is slightly more habit-forming than alcohol, yes, if our sole metric is the percentage of people who try the substance who in turn become dependent on it.  of course nicotine and caffeine leave both in the dust in this regard.
