I've always been curious to who Miles has voted for, since he is a traditional Southern Democrat.

Obama. He's a southern Democrat but certainly loyal to the party.

Yes. He's very conservative (for a democrat) in nature but a very loyal democrat.

Most likely President Obama. I would be more interested to see if he voted for Vitter or Melancon though.

This. He does sometimes support republicans, but almost always moderate republicans (like Edwin Peacock, the 2013 republican candidate for mayor of Charlotte, and Jon Huntsman).

Also, I think I remember him saying that out of the 2012 republican field, Huntsman was the only one that he was seriously considering voting for, so I don't see him supporting Romney.

Romney. Miles is a closet Republican - it's only a matter of time before he makes the switch and flips to a blue avater.

lolno

Obama obviously. Its not as if a former socially liberal, Northeast corporatist Republican like Romney is going to appeal that much to Miles anyways.

Not sure how that would be more interesting.

No way: Pat Mcrory, David Vitter.
And he loves some democrats: Hagan, Perdue, Landrieu,...

He might vote for a republican in a landslide, (Christie vs Warren), but he will never become a republican in LA or NC.

This. Early in the campaign, I told myself I'd look at Huntsman if he won the nomination. I sometimes thought of voting against Obama for strategic reasons though, e.g. if he was defeated red state Democrats may be having an easier time now.

Most likely President Obama. I would be more interested to see if he voted for Vitter or Melancon though.

Why? That was a super easy choice for me. Melancon is exactly my type of Democrat.

Well, reason being is although Melancon definitely appealed to the moderate Democrats in Louisiana, people knew the chance of him winning would have been incredibly slim and he didn't lead in a single poll against Vitter. It's also sort of like Tara Hollis in a way. It all depends if somebody stays loyal to their party and votes for the candidate who stands little to no chance or surrenders to the opposition.

By saying you voted for Melancon though, that right there is loyalty. On the other hand, although I'm to the left of you, I'm not even sure whether or not I'll support Landrieu in her re-election bid now after that anti-Obamacare bill she proposed.

You'd struggle to find a better catered for Democrat than Miles.
