WARNING: SPOILER POTENTIAL

It's been a day, and no thread from BRTD on probably the biggest Family Guy event... and I don't even watch the show.  I'm truly shocked.

I won't come out and say what it was, so you can go look it up if you haven't heard already, but I'm never a fan of when TV shows do this just to do it to shake things up.  It seemed pretty unnecessary here.

His name is mentioned in several episode titles later in the season, and he is mentioned as interacting with a future guest star, so unless these episodes are flashbacks or he is replaced by another character of the same name, it looks like he's going to stay dead for a couple of weeks then come back to life.
