I was also wondering this lol

As for the death...it was...shocking, to say the least. It's not unlike Family Guy to pull shock gags and be evil about their plot sometimes, but this was absolutely not the right way to achieve that. Don't get me wrong, I think Brian will be back. I have a hunch that "killing him off" was just a publicity stunt. Remember, Stewie has a time machine. There is an easy fix to bring him back.

I'm not going to join the Anti-Vinny bandwagon because I'm willing to give the new dog a shot, but nobody will ever replace Brian and Seth MacFarlane screwed up big time with this. Family Guy will lose even more viewers than it already has and it will eventually go down the same, dull path as The Simpsons did.

One more thing, WHY COULDN'T MEG DIE?! Sad Sad Sad

I usually keep you on ignore but some posts are just annoying enough

1. Seth MacFarlane did not write the episode. He basically has nothing to do with the actual creation of the show, sans voice recording.

2. Family Guy was already heading towards a Simpsons-esque death.

3. It was a cartoon character. No need to become depressed over his death. And no reason to have cried for half the episode, despite how emotional you might be. This is not out of the ordinary for Family Guy. They crave attention so badly that they wrote in a major character's death. Big deal.

Cleveland has/had the charisma of a pile of dead leaves. Brian is interesting.

Yeah, no, it's a hoax.

I just read the Wiki article.  Apparently Cleveland comes back in the next season.  This show is definitely on its last legs.

Time to let FG go the way of Old Yeller.

Bonus points for another dead dog reference

The sound I just made was a mixture of laughter and abhorrence.
