You've been a great friend to everyone here. Asking for our condolences is nothing to be ashamed about.

I'm very sad to hear this, and you will be in my heart and thoughts.

Sorry to hear about this Snowguy.

This is especially sad to hear since it's the holidays.

You and my family will be in my prayers!

My dad spent close to twenty years cheating death and at one point was kicked off of hospice because he had been on it too long without dying, so I certainly understanding the mixed emotions.  Be grateful for the time you had and ready to move on to what comes next.

I'm sorry Bryan. You're right, it is a relief when a family member isn't suffering anymore. But it doesn't make the pain of losing her any easier.

Again, I'm very sorry Bryan. She's in a better place now.

I really don't know what to say and I don't think there's anything I can say that will ease your pain. I lost my grandma back in February and it still hurts very badly. Even now, I can't believe she's gone and it was particularly hard having the first Thanksgiving without her. I had an emotional breakdown about it that night as well. (And to be honest, it tears me up just to type this.) You have my strongest condolences. I do wish you the best.
