George Washington: 77.6% Approval

2nd President of the United States: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Adams

Massive FF, like most of the founding fathers.

One of the lesser FF Founding Fathers, due to Alien and Sedition.

Of course, the only HP I know of in the Founding Fathers is Hamilton, but that's a longer story.

If anybody is 18th Century Glenn Beck its Sam Adams or Patrick Henry, not a supporter of centralized government and mercantile economics like John Adams.

Anyways FF on the balance.

What about Aaron Burr?

Anyway, FF.

Do you know what the work of people like John Adams did in securing this country's independence from Great Britain? Jesus Christ, even if he were a modern politician he'd deserve a Hell of a lot more respect than that. Let's see you serve as the founder of a nation, an ambassador, and a President during one of the most partisan and divided eras in United States history. Had any other man been at the helm during the tumultuous period he was President, this little nation of ours might well find itself on the ash heap of history. Beyond merely his presidential legacy, he accomplished more than probably any of us on this forum will in our lifetime.

Freedom Fighter. One of our best.

For reasons I can't really put into writing every time I try, for some reason, he is probably the founder I respect the most.

Of course I respect him for his role in creating the nation, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with him and it doesn't mean I have to like him. Stop trying to destroy me for everything I post regarding my politics. I shouldn't have to fear a rebuttal like this simply for stating my opinion.

I'm hardly trying to destroy you, and a simple "HP" rating would hardly have merited a response. However, comparing him to Glen Beck, and also, by my recollection getting his record of support for war--I assume the American revolution--is a grievous offense in my opinion, and one that deserved a counter-strike, of sorts.

The comparison was tongue in cheek, but it appears I have to explicitly state that if I want anyone to know it. But fine. HP.

Lean FF

His signing of the Alien and Seditions Act is quite damning, but not nearly enough to cancel out him having the balls to tell Hamilton to stfu, which makes him more of an FF than Washington by default.

A hideous hermaphroditical character which has neither the force and firmness of a man, nor the gentleness and sensitivity of a woman.
