All this bill does is remove the section of another law that tells the Pacific "to suck it."

I believe quite firmly in section 2 of the I Guess We Messed Up But The Pacific Can Still Suck It Act and will veto any attempt by the legislature to remove this cherished piece of correct policy from our books.

Not much, just that the Pacific is a barren, god-forsaken place and they can, in fact, suck it.

I will support the Speaker's bill. Any attempt to tidy up the IDS' legislation should be commended.

I ask the legislature to pass this bill and improve inter-regional relations. The Pacific has a similar bill criticizing the IDS which I aim to repeal.

May I ask why we told them to suck it in the first place?

So the Pacific all of the sudden in 2006 just went "F-U IDS" then we went "WTF? Well F-U too! Angry" and thus it spiraled all to this?

Why should we suffer for our ancestor's mistakes? I support this just as long as they also repeal it at the same time...

I have introduced a bill to do this, but it has yet to get to the floor.

Don't forget, we've always known as a region that we're better than the Pacific. The makers of the original Suck it Pacific Act https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Suck_it_Pacific_Act_of_2010 knew that it was better to be a prisoner in the South than a free man in the Pacific and acted accordingly. Earlier this year when the Pacific showed it was incapable of governing itself we responded by governing for them with the Restoration of Pacific Order Act https://uselectionatlas.org/AFEWIKI/index.php/Restoration_of_Pacific_Order_Act. It is VERY clear that the IDS is the superior region and I continue to hold that the Pacific can, in fact, suck it.

How dare you accuse the Pacific of sucking it? I find it very insulting that you take the actions of some thoughtless trolls and blame them on the people who have been working to fix this region for the last six months. Not only that, but I find it even more insulting that you have undermined Tyrion's, Flo's, DemPGH's, and my own contributions to this game because of some petty tradition where our region's hate each other, although now I can see why it happened in the first place. Meanwhile, you think you have the right to send your illegal militia and your prisoners to the Pacific region because we're apparently "inferior." This will not be tolerated. You don't have the right to call us inferior, you don't have the right to invade us, and you don't have the right to exile criminals to our region. I fought blood, sweat, and tears to eliminate the NMAM trolls from my region. I fought inactivity, constitutional loopholes, strategic registration, and backwards legislation to make my region successful, and I didn't do it all so you can tell my region to suck it.

*this is in no way an attack on the IDS

Could you move it to tonight? I'm okay with tomorrow voting and stuff but I'm just anxious on passing this through...

Dangit these rules and procedures! Oh well, it has only been a day that this bill has existed as its own thread... Anyone know the shortest time a bill has ever been past?

These rules and procedures are actually very new. When I was in the legislature there were one or two bills that went by in less then a day.
