With No Anderson as an Independent, the Republicans would do a lot better nationwide. 

The South would have been a toss up due to Baker being from Tennessee.  Carter would prob at best win Georgia, Louisiana, and Arkansas but that's about it, I see Baker winning the rest of the south.

It depends on if Iran is going on and the economy is still tanking, if so Baker will roll, if not it would be close like 1976.
