The only strategy, I've won with JFK, as winning Eisenhower democrats, fully pro-civil rights, mostly hawkish and domestically moderate.

I just won as Nixon in a landside, though popular vote was neck and neck. It paid off to still visit the South and even Minnesota. I think avoiding the debate helped the most: http://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/61239

I am on mobile, so I will add the mal later.

http://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/61619

Embraced Eisenhower and campaigned as a conciliatory candidate with moderate positions on Civil Rights and the Cold War.  Backed Eisenhower's record on the economy.  I agreed to debate Kennedy, and got utterly trounced but it didn't seem to hurt me that much by the time Election Day rolled around.  Very close popular vote, but I won widely in the electoral college.

48.1% Nixon 228 EVs
46.1% Kennedy 260 EVs

Campaigned staunchly pro-civil rights, pro-labor, moderately hawkish like Intell. Wisconsin prevented me from reaching 270.

Vice Pres. Richard Nixon (R-CA)/Sen. Everett Dirksen (R-IL): 343 EVs, 48.75% PV
Sen. John F. Kennedy (D-MA)/Sen. Lyndon B. Johnson (D-TX): 46.41% PV
Sen. Harry Byrd (ID-VA)/Sen. Strom Thurmond (ID-SC): 27 EVs, 4.84% PV

What I find interesting on this one is that right before the election, I was estimated to be beating Kennedy in Illinois 50-49%, but I ended up losing there by about 5,000 votes.  That's probably Mayor Daley bringing out the dead vote in Chicago...

http://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/60555
Sorry for that mistake.  Kennedy got it, but I can't pull up the margin.

Has anyone succeeded in contacting them? I've sent two emails since the end of November using both addresses, and haven't gotten any sort of response.

I've thought about donating some dough but IDK if so now.

If they get consistent on updating I'll consider it. Still got many elections to get through.

Obama/Biden- 272 EV's,   64,341,950    49.7%
Romney/Pawlenty-266 EV's,  63,951,708   49.4%

Decided to go old school with Romney. Got Pawlenty and decided to go as centrist as I could go. Usually I stay center right fully and have Pawlenty for the liberal Rep vote but I went hard center mostly except core issues.

Took forever to declare a winner, lost thanks to Iowa and less than 6,000 or so votes. Lost Virginia closely too.  Campaigned solidly for Virginia but Iowa was a surprise.

Nixon/Reagan on easy. Came out in full support of seregation on the main question on it, but tacked a largely moderate tone elsewhere. The north largely checked in for Humphrey, but I managed to get AR and GA out of Wallace's column despite narrowly losing TX. 329-182-27 Nixon.
