Bizarre game in which I campaigned exclusively in Kansas and lost by 1%. Lost ND by 400 votes.

(On easy of course)

449/89 (or 448/90 if you don't count NE-2)

I somehow got Montana going Republican by a few hundred votes two different times in two different years.

And another -- this time, Trump won the state by a mere 27 votes. What is it with Montana today?

My first Wilson victory on Impossible. It's currently sitting pretty as the highest-ranked Wilson-on-Impossible game in the Hall of Fame...and the only actual victory on that list.

Pres. Woodrow Wilson (D-NJ)/Vice Pres. Thomas R. Marshall (D-IN): 299 Electoral votes, 8,985,352 Popular Votes (48.4%)
Justice Charles Evans Hughes (R-NY)/Sen. Charles W. Fairbanks (R-IN): 232 Electoral Votes, 8,660,280 Popular Votes (46.6%)
Allan Benson/James Hanly/Others: 0 Electoral Votes, 920,527 Popular Votes (5.0%)

Just won a 1976 election as Gerald Ford on Normal Mode.  Pretty stoked that I was able to do it with John Anderson as my running mate since the game seems to hate him, and I didn't feel like selling out to win Texas.  Lost the popular vote by nearly a million votes in 1976, so there will probably be riots, but oh well!

https://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/227749

President Gerald Ford (R-MI) / Congressman John B. Anderson (R-IL): 303 EVs, 38,842,260 PVs (48.37%)
Governor Jimmy Carter (D-GA) / Senator Walter Mondale (D-MN): 235 EVs, 39,820,048 PVs (49.59%)

Clinton, the Social Conservative, Fiscal Liberal

Hillary Clinton/Sherrod Brown (Democratic), 338 Electoral votes, 66,516,682 Popular votes (51.3%)
Donald Trump/Scott Brown (Republican), 200 Electoral votes, 58,725,690 (45.3%)

Clinton: Anti-TPP, Pro-Obamacare, Wants to raise the minumum wage, Pro-Life, hawkish on Iraq, getting as many refugees as Saudi Arabia gets.

Next up: TRUMP, the Social Liberal, Fiscal Conservative!

Has anybody been able to win as Nixon/Goldwater in 1960 on anything other than easy?

I think its one of the few scenarios I haven't been able to beat the game at

Just played as Trump on impossible. Lost PV by over three million votes, but narrowly won electoral vote with razor-thin wins in Pennsylvania and Florida while comfortably flipping Iowa and Ohio.

Donald J. Trump/Scott Brown: 309 EV's and 48.3%
Hillary Clinton: 229 EV's and 48.5% of the vote

I played as Donald Trump and chose Scott Brown as my VP. I played on normal and got this result.

First try on the 1916 normal scenerio (as a Republican of course). I treaded the moderate path very carefully on domestic issues and went all out as the anti-war opponent. Indiana was the turning point and was won by less than 200 votes - glad I visited it 6 times!

DEM - Woodrow Wilson / Thomas Marshall 265 EV, 49.08%
GOP - Charles Hughes / Elmer Burkett 266 EV, 46.45%
