Kicked the crap out of Nixon on hard with Fred Harris as VP. Campaigned as a candidate who was definitively anti-war and centre-left on everything else.

Humphrey/Harris 46.2% 426 ECV

Richard Nixon 40.4% 66 ECV

George Wallace 13.4% 45 ECV
