Bump.  I did 1896 with McKinley & Reed, Normal difficulty:

Gov. William McKinley (R-OH)/Rep. Thomas B. Reed (R-ME): 284 EVs
Rep. William Jennings Bryan (D-NE)/Mr. Arthur Sewall (D-ME): 163 EVs

Much Better Result

Rep. William Jennings Bryan (D-NE)/Henery Teller (D-CO): 275 EVs
Gov. William McKinley (R-OH)/Garret Hobart 172 EVs

Result obviously doesn't load.

THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL

Congratulations! You have won the 1976 Presidential Election.
http://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/34576

Hopefully you can make good on your promises to clean up Washington and change the political and moral culture of the country. If you are successful, there is no reason you cannot run for reelection in 1980. Just be wary of any economic problems, or of some foreign policy crisis that could dent your popularity.

Final Results: Game Link (use link to access or share this result)

---- Other Candidates   0    1,090,488    1.3%
---- Eugene McCarthy   0    955,001    1.2%

Won the election and the EV despite being behind in the PV. Went full left on civil rights, neo-conservative and anti-communist on foreign policy.

The only strategy, I've won with JFK, as winning Eisenhower democrats, fully pro-civil rights, mostly hawkish and domestically moderate.

48.1% Nixon 228 EVs
46.1% Kennedy 260 EVs

Campaigned staunchly pro-civil rights, pro-labor, moderately hawkish like Intell. Wisconsin prevented me from reaching 270.

Yea, this is what I won as, now I need to know how to win with Johnson and Stymmington.

Dukakis/Gore: 280 EV, 50.2% PV
Bush/Quayle: 258 EV, 48.8%

And I did it without a Solid South nor the handy-dandy Nevada-Ohio bellwethers, New Mexico and Missouri still came through.

Now where are the Clinton years and 2004?

How they added 1988 over 1992 is laughable, and the same is choosing 1916 over 1912,

WHAT IS YOUR FREAKING OBSESSION WITH 1992!
