2000 has now been added as a scenario, btw. Smiley

Cheesy

Played with Bob Graham as VP; only lost OH by .2% but it's a really great game overall and I'm excited to be able to try out different scenarios.

Played as Humphrey in normal mode; the election was deadlocked and I think I would have done better if I had chosen to attack Nixon on his scandal during the last days of the campaign.

Played as Humphrey on Easy; actually pretty happy with the results (easy mode isn't as easy as one would think). New Hampshire took about forever to call.

Romney on Normal; decent result. Was hoping for NV and PA.

Does anybody here know how to get >5% with Nader on Normal? If they could show me a game where they did so, I'd really appreciate it.

I wonder if it's possible to win a state as him. If I was a third party candidate, I would rather win a state than 5% nationally.

This one was absolutely hilarious. Around halfway through the game I started campaigning only in Texas and began to choose my answers randomly (whichever one was last on the list), but I still won 332-206.

Just for future reference, it's much easier to prevent an electoral majority as Wallace if you play on Impossible than it is if you go Easy/Normal. Impossible mode helps Humphrey a lot for some reason.

Ford wins 8.35% of the time he's played on normal Tongue

And literally nobody has ever won as him on Hard or Impossible, though somebody did manage 266 EVs

Palmer's technical ceiling is 100 EVs and slightly more than 2 million PVs, though that can only happen when William Jennings Bryan is played on Impossible. In other words, Palmer can win everything under MO and to the left of NM.

Buchanan can win UT if Bush is played on Impossible, while Nader can win DC if Gore does the same.
