The Democrats in Colorado made a fatal and reckless error in passing those gun control laws and has potentially made two safe races tossups. Luckily for them the state GOP is in a far worse state than the Dems right now and I expect Hickenlooper to pull out of this on top. I feel like Dems should do what's best and just repeal most of the gun control legislation except for the universal background checks to stop the bleeding. It might look like panicking but it could show Dems are listening to the voters.

He's trending up. Plus it's the COGOP - they'll likely blow this.

I think it's really foolish for Dems to start counting CO as even close to a blue state.  Trends reverse themselves.

The problem is, the CO GOP seems to have been backfiring in the last 10 years.  Hopefully they can turn that around and win an election at least.

Colorado still a Purple State though.

I do expect the gun control laws to be repealed following this election.
